Esta banda es mundialmente conocida sobre todo por la ingente cantidad de buenos músicos que pasaron por ella: Nikki Sixx, Blackie Lawless, John St. John, Lizzie Grey, John Ward, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Bobby Marks, Brian West, Fred Coury, Eddie St. James, ...y así hasta 19 miembros diferentes. Aunque la verdad es que los músicos más permanentes en dicha banda son Sean Lewis (guitarra) y el cantante Nadir D'Priest, que de hecho es ahora el que lleva las riendas del grupo tras reformarlo en 2006 (su nombre ahora es "D'Priest's New London").
